We’re glad you found us.
Montview was the first church in Denver’s historic Park Hill neighborhood. Throughout our more than 100-year history, we have built a legacy of great music, progressive theology and courageous social witness.
We’re a church of young and old, from all backgrounds with different perspectives. What we share in common is the conviction that we are all God’s children and there is room for everyone.
Faith in Practice
At Montview we believe faith is about more than dogma. It’s about experiencing God in everyday life, both in times of joy and struggle. It’s about opening our hearts to a greater capacity for love, forgiveness and service.
We believe that the love of God surrounds us and our call is to nurture this love in ourselves and each other. Through prayer, worship, education, outreach and mission, we want to foster spiritual fulfillment, community, tolerance, peace, non-violence and social justice.
We trust that God goes with us wherever life takes us and, because of that trust, we can risk living with compassion, gratitude and joy. We invite you to join us on the journey!
8:30 a.m. - Early Worship Service
Smaller and less formal than at the 11:00 service. Choir does not sing.
9:30 a.m. - Fellowship in the McCollum Room
Time to hang out and greet one another.
11:00 a.m. - Worship Service
Larger service with full choir and lots of energy.
At Montview you are invited to start where you are and trust that God will lead you where you need to go. Along the way, you will have lots of companions on the journey. Our ministers don’t pretend to know all the answers and our members don’t pretend to live perfect lives. Spiritual life is not separate or distinct from other aspects of our life, but something to be integrated into everything we do. We learn as we go and trust that God goes with us.
