Gathering Hymn
*157 I Danced in the Morning, Verse 1 (8:30am)
I danced in the morning when the world was begun,
And I danced in the moon and the stars and the sun,
And I came down from heaven and I danced on the earth.
At Bethlehem I had my birth.
Dance, then, wherever you may be; I am the Lord of the Dance,
said he,
And I’ll lead you all, wherever you may be, and I’ll lead you
all in the dance, said he.
388 Come All You People (11:00am)
Come all you people, come and praise your Maker;
Come all you people, come and praise your Maker;
Come all you people, come and praise your Maker;
Come now and worship the Lord.
(Please rise in body or spirit and join the youth in singing the third time through.)

RESPONDING TO GOD’S GRACE
Reception of New Members (11:00am)
*Creed (Unison)
In life and in death we belong to God. Through the grace of our Lord Jesus Christ, the love of God, and the communion of the Holy Spirit, we trust in the one triune God whom alone we worship and serve. We trust in Jesus Christ, fully human, fully God. We trust in God, whom Jesus called Abba, Father. We trust in the Holy Spirit, everywhere the giver and renewer of life. With believers in every time and place, we rejoice that nothing in life or in death can separate us from the love of God in Christ Jesus our Lord. Glory be to the Creator, and to the Son, and to the Holy Spirit. Amen. (Excerpted from A Brief Statement of Faith.)
