GATHERING IN GOD’S NAME

Prelude

Welcome
Rev. Clover Reuter Beal
Co-Pastor

*Call to Worship (Based on Psalm 42)
Leader: As a deer longs for flowing streams,
our souls long for you, O God.
People: Our souls thirst for God, for the living God.
Leader: Why are you cast down, O my soul,
and why are you disquieted within me?
People: Hope in God, for we shall again praise the Lord,
our help and our God.
Leader: Let us lift our hearts to worship.

*Opening Hymn
673  Jesus, Light of Joy  (Lauda Anima)

*Corporate Confession (Unison)
Holy Mystery-
we confess that we often resist your invitation
to live in loving relationship.
We turn from wonder, close off compassion,
and forget that we belong to one another.
Forgive us.
Draw us again into your sacred relationship
where healing, justice, and transformation
are possible.
Amen.
