Art Reflection - Amit

Ofra Amit is an award-winning illustrator living and working in Tel Aviv. She imagines from the imaginations of writers creating for both fiction and non-fiction works. Illustrators have a freedom common to all of us and they most often apply this to the words of another. They take in language and let their hands interpret and amplify its meaning.

We live in times that cry out for new questions and answers. As these days call us to face new challenges and dream new dreams, may we all remember that at the heart of all this newness is the Holy Spirit that whispers to us in stillness. May we listen well and give thanks upon thanks to the God of all that is and has been and will be. May we let our thoughts fly freely in the direction of love and peace. Amen.
