Art Reflection - Tentler-Krylov

Victoria Tentler-Krylov is a visual artist and architect. Originally from St. Petersburg, Russia, she is now based in New York City where she illustrates the words of others and her own for children’s books and adult publications. She is known for her poetic depictions filled with movement and energy.

Tentler-Krylov often shows the buildings and architecture of a scene as prominent, sharing the format with people and a bit of fantasy. She begins with exquisite watercolor renderings and then enhances these digitally to greater points of beauty and imagination.

If you are captivated by her work, you are not alone. Her unique and yet familiar illustrations can call us to the present, past and future in expanded, heartfelt ways.

We can again be grateful for a unique artist doing unique work for the world to see. She joins the huge assembly of artists who follow their creativity in the manner of God’s own, bidden or not. Thanks be to God.

In gratitude, faith and hope,
