*Corporate Confession (Unison)
Holy and merciful God,
in your presence we confess
our failure to be what you created us to be.
You alone know how often we have sinned
in wandering from your ways,
in wasting your gifts,
in forgetting your love.
By your loving mercy,
help us to live in your light
and abide in your ways,
for the sake of Jesus Christ our Savior.
Amen.

*Prayer of Dedication (Unison)
God, you have so greatly loved us, long sought us, and mercifully redeemed us. Give us grace that in everything, we may yield ourselves, our wills and our works, a continual thank offering to you. Through Jesus Christ our Lord. Amen.

*Response
607  Praise God, from Whom All Blessings Flow  (Doxology)
Praise God, from whom all blessings flow; Praise Christ, all people here below; Praise Holy Spirit evermore; Praise Triune God, whom we adore. Amen.

Prayers of the People and The Lord’s Prayer (Unison)
Our Father, who art in heaven, hallowed be thy name. Thy kingdom come, thy will be done, on earth as it is in heaven. Give us this day our daily bread; and forgive us our debts, as we forgive our debtors; and lead us not into temptation, but deliver us from evil. For thine is the kingdom and the power and the glory forever. Amen.

*Closing Hymn
770 I’m Gonna Eat at the Welcome Table  (Spiritual)

This morning’s singing of “I Want Jesus to Walk With Me” and “I’m Gonna Eat at the Welcome Table” – American Negro Spirituals – is presented in accordance with our reparations royalty pilot program: a practice of valuing the musical contributions of enslaved Africans to American worship and song. All are invited to make a reparations royalty contribution via the pew offering envelope (write “reparations royalty”), at Montview.org/giving (One-time gift: Reparations Royalty Fund) or by clicking here.

ANNOUNCING OUR 2026 REPARATIONS ROYALTIES RECIPIENT
The Worship, Music and Arts Committee and the Session have recently selected The Spirituals Project as the 2026 recipient for funding from the Spirituals Reparations Royalties Program. The Spirituals Project is housed at the Lamont School of Music at the University of Denver and is dedicated to preserving and revitalizing the spirituals through music, education and social justice work in the community. Through The Spirituals Choir, Educational Activities and connections with local organizations, the project seeks to engage people and communities in the music and teachings of these sacred songs and ensure they are passed on for generations to come. This combined purpose of music and education aligns with Montview’s mission, ongoing antiracism work and the intentions of the Spirituals Reparations Royalties Program.

Thanks to the generous contributions of the Montview community through the Spirituals Reparations Royalties Program, $10,000 will be distributed to The Spirituals Project this month to support ongoing programming and further the impact the project is having locally and nationally.
